What to Bring to Camp:

MARK NAMES ON ALL CLOTHING AND POSSESSIONS. Do not bring your best things. Camp is a very busy place. Although we try to remind campers about the care of their things, clothes can get very dirty and may get lost. Electronic games and radios and cassette players are not recommended.

Camp Wiyaka will not be responsible for damage or loss incurred while at camp.

Recommendations for one week:

  • 6-8 shirts
  • 4-6 pairs of shorts
  • 2 pairs of sneakers
  • 2-3 long pants
  • 8-10 underwear
  • 6-8 pairs socks
  • 2 pajamas
  • 2 sweatshirts
  • jacket
  • day pack
  • visor hat
  • raincoat/poncho
  • 2 bathing suits
  • 2-4 towels
  • washcloth
  • soap (travel box)
  • toothpaste
  • toothbrush
  • shampoo
  • water bottle
  • comb/brush
  • deodorant
  • laundry bag
  • sun screen (SPF 30 or higher)
  • bug repellent
    (pump spray or cream)
  • pillow
  • sleeping bag
    (40° rating or lower)

    (extra batteries)

    No FOOD, GUM, or SODA should be brought by or sent to any camper.
    No DRUGS, ALCOHOL, or SMOKING SUBSTANCES.

    SPENDING MONEY for the canteen will be turned in to camp director at sign-in. This is used as credit during the week. $7.00 per week is suggested. Canteen is for snacks, candy and drinks. Canteen is done each afternoon.)
